He was born October 25, 1954, is married with two children. He is a natural born U.S. citizen and is in excellent health. In January of 1994 he moved from a practice location in Alabama to Lafayette, Louisiana to set up a totally Pro-Life Obstetrics and Gynecology practice. While practicing in Dothan, Alabama, he was named Doctor of the Year in 1991 at his hospital which had over 200 physicians on staff. He also received the Physician’s Recognition Award from the American Medical Association through May 1, 1996 for continuing medical education. He served on the Ethics Committee at Lafayette General Medical Center from January 2002 through 2005. He served as Chief of the Ob-Gyn/Pediatrics Department at Lafayette General Medical Center from 2005-2009.
